TERMS OF DONATION

By making a donation to Massachusetts Patient Advocacy Alliance, Inc. ("MPAA"), you agree to these terms of donation.
Donation Payment Processing
All donations are processed through PayPal, Inc., a third-party payment processor. Please review PayPal's terms of service and privacy policy for information on how they process and protect your information. MPAA does not store your complete credit card or bank account information on our servers.
Refunds
Donations are refundable within 30 days from the date of the transaction. To request a refund, please email director@compassionforpatients.com with your name, the date of the transaction, and the amount of the donation. Refunds will be processed through PayPal to your original payment method.
Tax Deductibility
Donations to MPAA are not tax-deductible. MPAA is a 501(c)(4) social welfare nonprofit organization, and donations to 501(c)(4) organizations are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions under the Internal Revenue Code.

Donor Information
MPAA takes the privacy of our donors seriously. We collect and use donor information, including name, email address, mailing address, and donation amount, solely for the purpose of processing your donation, sending acknowledgments, and keeping you informed about MPAA's activities if you have opted in to our mailing list.
Donor information is stored securely and is only accessible to authorized MPAA personnel and our technical service providers. We will only retain information necessary to maintain accurate records of our donors and comply with legal requirements. Use of Donations
MPAA uses donations to cover expenses related to operating as a nonprofit organization. This includes costs associated with advocacy, public education, community outreach, patient assistance programs (including Cannabis Care Connect™), and administrative operations.
Acknowledgement
MPAA will send an email acknowledgment to the donor after the donation is processed. The acknowledgment will include the date and amount of the donation, MPAA's tax identification number, and a reminder that donations to MPAA are not tax-deductible.
These Terms of Donation are effective as of December 1, 2025.
