If you or someone you love is suffering from a debilitating condition, please join the Massachusetts Patient Advocacy Alliance for a free educational event on the therapeutic uses of marijuana as well as how to become a medical marijuana patient on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm at Ipswich Town Hall.  Within Ipswich Town Hall we will be meeting at basement level in the Council on Aging Cafeteria.  Bring your questions and your loved ones.

Why:  Educate Ipswich and the surrounding communities about medical cannabis and its use as an alternative medicine.

Featured Speakers 
Nichole Snow, Executive Director of MPAA
Nichole is a tireless patient advocate fighting for full implementation of the medical marijuana ballot questions passed by Massachusetts voters in 2012. Featured throughout the media, she is constantly on the move advocating for safe access in local municipalities and at the state and national level. At Patient Night, Nichole will explore how to become a registered medical marijuana patient in the Massachusetts program.

Barbara DeJaeger, Medical Cannabis Patient & Resident of Hamilton, MA
Barbara is a Hamilton resident who suffers from chronic pain found medical marijuana as a viable alternative to opioids. “Chronic pain takes a toll on you,” deJager told the Boston Globe. “I would tell anyone who feels they are living out of a prescription bottle to look at [marijuana] to help them reduce the pills.”

Is this event open to the public? Yes this event is free to attend for anyone interested in learning about the medical marijuana program in Massachusetts.

Who Attends? We welcome everyone to attend interested in learning about cannabis as medicine, where to access medical marijuana, and how individuals and family members can help their loved ones access medical cannabis. 

What are my transportation/parking options? There will be plenty of parking at the Town Hall in Ipswich. If you need to carpool let us know by contacting director@compassionforpatients.com

Why should I attend? We encourage everyone to attend who thinks they might be a candidate for medical marijuana or their loved one might benefit from cannabis. Information is power and learning about medical cannabis and its benefits can lead to positive outcomes in many instances for patients suffering from a wide range of debilitating conditions.
